FAQs
How much time do I need for this?
For the ideal cleanse experience, I highly recommend carving out space in your schedule so you have time to prepare your meals, integrate simple self care habits, take an un-rushed pace and rejuvenate your nervous system. If this isn’t realistic for you and you are committed to a reset, you can choose a streamlined track which will minimize your time in the kitchen and do some easy meal prep on days off.
I am wondering if I will feel too restricted?
If you are new to cleansing or haven’t cleansed in the past two years and you have this concern, I recommend starting off with a gentle reset that is not overly restrictive. It is common to feel challenged at times during a cleanse but we want to avoid feeling stressed which is counterproductive and will likely prevent you from wanting to cleanse in the future. In the prep session we will hone in on a menu that feels doable and cleansing for you.
Will my energy be low?
Cleanse members are typically able to carry out work and family responsibilities with some added time built in for self care. A deeper cleanse experience will require extra rest. All levels of cleansing can bring up unexpected moods, emotions and fatigue due to the detox process. It's beneficial to allow space and capacity for this process. Many members choose to reduce or avoid anything extra for the time of the cleanse.
What if I’m too busy to cook?
You can create a streamlined track that will minimize time in the kitchen and still provide you with simple nourishing smoothies, soups and stews (bonus if you have an Instant Pot). This track will still require a shopping trip and some light meal prep that you can do ahead of time on a day off. Otherwise if you are looking for the most *hands-off* cleanse experience, I have an excellent home chef I can recommend who is well-versed in the cleanse recipes.
What if I have a special event to attend?
Try to schedule your reset before or after the event. It is best to avoid events during your cleanse as it can be stressful and distracting to your cleanse process. If you can’t avoid eating out or have a social gathering you must attend, it would be best to bring your own food if possible. Second choice would be to select foods which are closest to your cleanse menu- light, low or no-fat and easy to digest.
How can I do this if others in my household will not be cleansing?
This is very common. If you will be preparing meals for them as well, I suggest you choose cleanse recipes that would work for them too and just add toppings, that are outside of the cleanse, to their portion like dairy, gluten, extra fat and/or protein (if they desire). If you become mentally/emotionally challenged or tempted by their food, come back to your important reasons for cleansing and remember that it is a very temporary period of time you have committed to.

Truth, I used to hate cleansing. Early on, my cleanses were extreme and difficult. Naturally, I didn't do them often and never looked forward to them. I just knew it was something I should do. Ugh, the shoulds...
Once I learned about my body type and how to align my wellness habits with the seasons, I figured out my extreme cleanses were actually creating more imbalance for me.
Now I know before I start any cleanse, I have to check in first with my body, my nervous system and what has been going on with nature to understand what kind of cleanse I need, how deep and for how long.
Strong health & immunity begins with strong digestion and the ability to detox well. One thing I have learned from years of guiding cleanses, they don't need to be extreme to be effective.
This reset will give your mind, body and nervous system a much needed opportunity to rest, digest, detox and renew.
